Sukma is a Ronggeng dancer who always watches Mamah Dudeh from a distance when she is on the stage. On the way home, she passes by Mamah Dudeh’s house and overhears Kidung chanting; finally, she musters her courage to come and learn the Song of Kidung. Unfortunately, Mamah Dudeh declines Sukma’s intention, but she does not give up until she finally changes Mamah Dudeh’s mind.
