SYNOPSIS

The film follows a young unnamed Muslim boy through one of the protest in a long series of demonstrations by Muslim hardliners against the former governor of Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. At the protest, the boy witnesses the reality of Indonesia’s current political turmoil, which has revealed that racial and religious discriminations are alive and growing in Indonesia today.

but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The film follows a young unnamed Muslim boy through one of the protest in a long series of demonstrations by Muslim hardliners against the former governor of Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. At the protest, the boy Diego Batara Mahameru, is a filmmaker based in Jakarta, Indonesia. He fell in love with films when he was 7 after watching Jurassic Park (Steven Spielberg). What he likes most is 'Escapism' and 'Emotion'. When they are combined together that becomes a film. He has worked as a director of 4 short films. One of his major works is titled Calon (The candidate, 2015), got selected from 5 different Asian Film Festivals including Jogia-Netpac Asian Film Festival, Aceh Film Festival, and many more. His latest film “The Nameless Boy” got selected in Balinale International Film Festival. Diego is also participated in several Southeast Asia film workshop including FLY ASEAN-ROK Film Leader Incubator 2016 and MOFILM Academy for Southeast Asian Filmmaker.
