Synopsis
Sinopsis
In a moment of irresponsible negligence, barrister Adrian Lam indirectly sentences an innocent woman to prison over manslaughter. To right his wrong would mean going to war with the Chungs, the financial tycoon family who is responsible for the crime. Adrian must reflect on his mistakes and fearlessly overcome any challenges, if he is to uphold justice and punish the true culprit.

Jack Ng
A four-time Hong Kong Film Awards nominee, Jack Ng is a frequent collaborator of filmmaker Dante Lam, writing some of his best action thrillers such as The Beast Stalker (2008), The Sniper (2009), Fire of Conscience (2010), The Stool Pigeon (2010), The Viral Factor (2012), and Unbeatable (2013). He also co-wrote the action blockbuster SPL (2005) with Wilson Yip and Szeto Kam Yuen. His latest writing credits include the action smash hit Cold War 2 (2016), blockbusting fantasy Monster Hunt 2 (2018) and the recent blockbuster Anita (2021).
